How To Level Up Quickly In Farmville

There are more and more people joining the ranks of FarmVille every day. No one can get enough of this game and there are plenty of reasons why. This also goes for me as well as I'm already at a higher level and still never get enough. In FarmVille, you can get away from the noise and stress of everyday life. Just relax, plant some seeds, harvest some crops – not a bad way to spend an evening. And as you do this, you'll naturally advance in levels over time.

There may come a time, though, when you want to get a little more out of the game. Every time you move up a level, you unlock new seeds, decorations, and other discretionary items. Now they even got crafting, where you can either set up a Winery, a Spa, or a Bakery, in which you can make the goods and sell them or you can buy the goods that your neighbor sells and easily convert them to fuel. There's a lot more than just the crafting.

This means that in order to get the most out of your FarmVille experience, you'll have to level up quickly to unlock as many items and bonuses as you can.

The Basics

But how do you do this? There are several things to keep in mind if you want to level up quickly in FarmVille. You probably already know that in order to level up, you need to accumulate experience points. For example, each plot of land you plow gets you one experience point. In the early stages of game play, the number of experience points you get by plowing land and planting crops is plenty to allow you to advance at a reasonable pace. Once you get through the initial stages though, you start to need more and more experience points to level up.

Focus on Experience

When you want to build up experience points quickly in FarmVille, you have to supplement what you gain from your normal harvests with other activities. Making improvements to your farm is a good way to gain some quick chunks of experience points. Buildings yield the most, but you can get experience from putting up just about any decoration or structure. You just have to pay close attention to the amounts of experience points each item will deliver.

You should also take experience points into consideration when deciding which crops to plant. Crops that take less than a day to grow only yield 1 experience point, while crops that take longer yield 2. That doesn't mean you only want to plant crops that offer 2 experience points however. If you can get back and harvest them as soon as they're ready, crops like strawberries will get you more than 2 experience points a day because you can harvest them every 4 hours.

Here's a secret I want to share with you...

Make sure you use the bushels for the crop you're going to harvest so that for every plot you harvest, you get at least 1 XP.

Also make sure you get as many bees as you can on your beehive (maximum allowed is 200 bees plus the queen bee). When they get pollinated and you harvest them, you can get up to 7 XPs per plot and this happened while I was harvesting the Morning Glory crops.

You have to be on top of your harvesting and planting cycles in order to make progress this way though. Putting up buildings on your farm remains the best way to get big boosts in your experience quickly. Save up your cash for those, and you'll be well on your way to unlocking all of the available items in FarmVille.

FarmVille Magic Clicker

Try out this nifty tool by Nessuno.org. It's a Windows program and is not a Farmville cheat. All it does for you is to do less clicking. But you have to make sure that you zoom out your farm just like the video has demonstrated it.

Jacaranda Tree

If you play Farmville and you're looking for the Jacaranda Tree, two things must happen:
  • It must be giftable by a player already in Level 100 (*). (I'm unable to gift it at this time)
  • You must be a Facebook friend who's also playing Farmville.

I still have a long way to go before I get there. Eventually, I'll make it there.

Meanwhile, my hands are full with Cafe World and Farmville and the winery I just started. Thus that's the least I'll worry about for now.

I'm just serving others by gifting, fertilizing farms, purchasing bakery, spa, and winery goods from friends, and snagging bushels from them (of course they get 10 XP per visit). As you see I'm a little bit too busy to worry about it at this point since I have a long way to go.

My two cents...

More Farmville for Fun With The NEW 26 x 26 Expansion

Just expanded my farm to 26x26 plot. It costs you 2 million coins, which I think is pretty steep. Or you can spend 80 FV cash to get it, which I think is steep for that as well.

Another thing you need to do is add five more neighbors. That's what I had to do even though I have more than 200 neighbors. I read from another source that you only need to add five more neighbors unless you already had the maximum of 300 neighbors, which you should be able to expand, providing you have the funds to do it.

By expanding your farm from a 24x24 to a 26x26, you just added 100 more plots. Is this worth 2 million coins/80 FV cash? You decide.

Rewards For Crop Mastery

Here's what you get when you master any crop you grow...that means you get past Level 3 mastery:
  • You get Coins and XP bonuses
  • If you use the bushels for the crop you're harvesting, you get at least 1 XP per harvest.
But you may ask, why am I not getting any XPs when I harvest my crops...

Well, until you mastered each crop, you go through Levels 1, 2, and 3 mastery. Here's what you need to know about harvesting each crop:
  • If you use the bushel for that crop, you get 2 credits for mastery per plot.
  • If you forget to use the bushel, you get 1 credit for mastery per plot.
  • If you master that crop, you get 1 XP per plot. This doesn't include the XP bonuses you get for your friends fertilizing your crops.

Get the point? So make sure you try to master each crop and also have some bushels in hand for that crop you're harvesting.

Farmville And 7-Eleven

Zynga, the creators of FarmVille have teamed up with 7-Eleven to promote the game (along with Mafia Wars and YoVille) through the purchase of 7-Eleven items. For every item you purchase, you go to http://www.buyearnplay.com, log into your Facebook account. You'll redeem the item through a code that's on each item purchased and then you get that particular item for that game. If you purchase a Farmville item, you get a Farmville item that's exclusive for only U.S. and Canada-based 7-Eleven stores. You can't even redeem it if you have an Internet connection from another country because a friend of mine had tried it.

Your first item redeemed from a 7-Eleven purchase gets you access to the Goji Berry crops, which you plant for 15 coins, harvest for 126 Coins, and get a total of 3 XPs (1 XP for plowing and 2 XPs for planting) not to mention if the plot was fertilize by a friend, which makes it up to 4 XPs.

There is also a chance that if you can collect all the items and you'll be awarded 200 Farmville cash (FV cash). This is called the Uber gift. You must get 8 counters (2 counters awarded if you buy the game card) credit and must master the Goji Berry crop to be awarded the Uber gift. In FarmVille, you get 200 FV cash if you accomplish it. I don't know if you can do it for a second time because it's a one-time only deal.

So if you participate in this promotion, you can get 200 FV cash. I already did and about to spend it all. I encourage you to do it as well.

Happy farming and keep playing farmville for fun.
